Geotechnical Drillers of Texas, founded in 2016, provides geotechnical drilling services to our clients by producing sub surface soil samples at various depths. These samples are tested by our clients to influence and determine the structural options of a future development including, pipelines, underground utilities, roadways, homes and buildings.
We provide these services utilizing state of the art equipment, offering dependable and reliable service and building and maintaining strong customer relationships.

About the Owner
Justin Lovelace
Justin has lived in the Houston area all of his life. He has spent 15 years in the oil and gas drilling industry working in positions such as a floor hand, which he obtained direct, front line experience with oil and natural gas extraction, a Derrick Hand, which he was responsible for retrieving drill pipe from the bore hole, maintaining pumps and equipment, and developing a strong mechanical aptitude. Then, as a Driller, in which he managed the rig, crew and controlled the operation of machinery and computer equipment.
He also worked in the geotechnical drilling industry. After learning the industry and developing an understanding for what is required to complete a job safely while also maintaining trust, reliability and dependability he founded GDT.
GDT has now been a leader in the Geotechnical Drilling industry since 2016. With our many years of soil boring knowledge, first hand experience and personable approach to customer service you can count on us for a job well done.
